Grassroots Football, Built from the Ground Up

New Eltham Gators FC is our exciting grassroots football team for children who are ready to take their game to the next level. Born out of the passion and success of Little Crocs Football Coaching, New Eltham Gators offers young players a natural progression from fun, foundational football sessions into structured team training and competitive match play.

At the heart of what we do is development — not just in terms of football skills, but in confidence, teamwork, discipline, and love for the game. We believe in creating an environment where children feel supported, encouraged, and inspired to grow — both on and off the pitch.

Little Crocs: The Official Soccer School of New Eltham Gators

Little Crocs Football Coaching is proud to be the official soccer school for New Eltham Gators FC. Our classes, such as Crocs Kickers (4–6 years) and our Over 5s Development Sessions, are designed to introduce children to the beautiful game in a fun, age-appropriate and nurturing environment.

From learning basic ball skills to understanding teamwork and sportsmanship, everything we teach in our Little Crocs sessions lays the foundation for players who may eventually move up into our Gators squad. Children who show readiness, passion, and progression are offered the opportunity to join New Eltham Gators FC, where they can represent the club in local grassroots leagues such as the Selkent League.

Our Approach

We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all coaching model. Every child is different, and we tailor our sessions to nurture each player’s unique strengths and help them develop at their own pace. Our focus is on:

• Building strong fundamentals through age-appropriate drills

• Fostering teamwork, communication, and a positive attitude

• Encouraging confidence, creativity, and decision-making on the pitch

• Creating a clear development pathway from soccer school to team football
